What verification covers
Professionals verify personal identity through document and liveness checks (KYC). Employers verify business identity and confirm who is authorized to hire (KYB). Each check produces a simple public status, while the underlying documents stay locked away from profiles, search, and other users.
Status labels are always literal: Identity Verified, Business Verified, Verification Pending, or Verification Required. The platform never hints at verification that has not happened, and unverified users can still participate fully while they complete the process.
Verification protects both directions at once. Employers hire without wondering whether a profile is real, and professionals accept work without wondering whether the company behind the role exists. That mutual certainty is what lets strangers start working together in days instead of months.
Checks are handled by a dedicated verification provider, reviewed against clear criteria, and recorded with timestamps. If a check fails, you see exactly what to fix and how to retry. Nothing about the process is a black box.
